End of the Year Update!

Hi all and thanks for your patience. We've been cranking along through a much slower layout process than we had hoped, but we've got good news!

Pathfinder 2E: We've just uploaded the standalone 106-page adventure of Chapter 3: Dead Vault Descent, including all the appendices and bonus articles. Layout is beginning next on Chapter 4: Confederates of the Shattered Zone. What about Chapters 1 & 2? We have been doing the chapters as they got finalized in editing and development and #3 and #4 were the first two done, so first in, first out. I expect to have chapters 1 and 2 back from development by mid-January so they'll be ready to start layout as soon as #4 is complete. This layout artist is creating the PF2 downloads in the format of the standalone adventures first, but they also will be combined into the final hardcover.

D&D 5E 2024: We've just uploaded the compilation chapter versions of Chapter 2: The Scavenged Codex and Chapter 3: Dead Vault Descent. We should have Chapter 1: To Worlds Unknown ready to upload later tonight or in the morning, but the layout guy is a big football fan and his favorite team is just kicked off their playoff game so he's watching that before coming back to finish up the export to me later tonight. The downloads here are compilation book chapter format, without the backup articles.

Tales of the Valiant: We've just uploaded the standalone 102-page adventure of Chapter 1: To Worlds Unknown, including all the appendices and bonus articles. We'll be starting work on Chapter 2: The Scavenged Codex shortly after the holiday weekend.
We definitely had hoped we'd have the three new versions buttoned up by the end of the year and we didn't make that goal, but we're happy to start getting your adventures into your hands and hope you love them as they arrive!

Art and Map Folios: These have been added to Backerkit for download now! They are organized for each adventure, so you'll find all the art and maps for The Assimilation Strain, To Worlds Unknown, The Scavenged Codex, and so on conveniently bundled together in one file.

D&D 5E 2024 Compilation: Layout is scheduled to send me the completed proofs for ALL of the adventures (Chapters 1-7) tonight, so we'll be able to review those and send them back for any corrections! After that, we just need to complete the remaining back end chapters and we'll be ready to finalize this version of the book, which hopefully we'll have ready to send your way by the end of December!

Tales of the Valiant Compilation: We have completed work on To Worlds Unknown and it headed to layout tomorrow! Much like with The Assimilation Strain, we'll be assembling the compilation version and also releasing each adventure as its own separate standalone product! We've also got a new layout person we're adding to the team specifically to work on the ToV version of Legendary Planet, so we're working to minimize delay between each step of the process.

Pathfinder Second Edition: As we noted in our last update, we had to replace some of the folks who had been working on this version. The new folks are chugging along, and we are hoping to get the first chapters over to start layout by the end of the week!

VTT Modules and Creature Tokens: As noted in the last update, these are waiting on completion of the adventures before moving forward, so no progress-o-meter on that one!

Legendary Worlds Compilation for 5E 2024 is up!

Hi all,
Just a quick note that we've got the Legendary Worlds compendium edition for D&D 5E 2024 up in Backerkit! If you've been waiting on that, head up to your account and download awayyyy!
In more good news, review, proofing, and development on Chapter 6 for the 5E 2024 AP, the massive Mind Tyrants of the Merciless Moons, is now complete, along with the Bestiary and Recurring Villains sections for that chapter that go in Chapters 13 and 14, and up in layout! I'll be working on getting the appendix chapters finalized so that version of the full AP can be assembled and out for you and we'll be able to pivot to pressing along with the ToV and Pathfinder 2E versions!
Speaking of those versions, I've also brought on board a new layout artist who will be assisting with the PF2 adventures so that we can have folks working in parallel!
I'm off this weekend at PAX UNPLUGGED in Philadelphia, so if you're going to be at the con, come by and say hi at our table with our friends at Studio 2 Publishing (Booth #2952)!

Pathfinder 1E, Starfinder, and D&D 5E 2014: These rewards have all been sent!

Tales of the Valiant: We've just uploaded ToV PDFs to Backerkit for The Assimilation Strain and Legendary Planet Player's Guide and our ToV conversion guy is well along on the remaining adventures.

D&D 5.5E 2024: Layout is finished on Chapters 1, 7, and 9. Development and editing is complete on Chapters 2, 3, 4, and 5 and those are in layout now. Manuscripts are in for all other chapters and ready for final review before heading to layout. We also compiled all seven of the Legendary Worlds products into a single volume, and layout on that is complete with final proofing, so it should be exported and ready to upload this weekend.

Pathfinder 2E: Manuscripts are in for Chapters 3, 4, and most of 9, 13, 14, and 15. We had a couple of freelancers drop out of the project (one health, one job) and have had to reassign some parts, but things are still moving along.

Master of the Universe Bundles: We are starting to get these packed up to go to backers. First ones should be going out this weekend and next week. These are the special items they are getting separate from the Adventure Path itself and other items coming directly form the printer.

VTTs: These are waiting on the adventures to get completed but will start rolling through development then.
For all versions, check in your Backerkit for downloads if you see something reported above as having been sent but you don't see it in your files. I can resend Backerkit links or, failing that, send you PDFs through DrivethruRPG.
Also, make sure that you have completed your survey. I've emailed a number of folks where we're waiting on your survey before we can send your rewards, since you need to select your system in Backerkit and we won't know which version to send until you do!

"Pay Over Time" Kickstarter Backers - Surveys coming soon!

Hi all,
I've heard from a number of you who used Kickstarter's new "Pay Over Time" feature to spread out your pledge into three payments. Those payments have been completed but a number of you have let me know that you still have not received your surveys.
I reached out to Backerkit and they just got back to me and let me know that your Backerkit surveys will be sent out automatically, but there is a lag time in the system between when that final payment is charged by Kickstarter, then reported to Backerkit, then triggers that survey send. Not surprisingly for a new feature, the lag time on that is a little hard to predict but it SHOULD be soon. If you still haven't received your surveys by Thursday, let me know and I'll run it up the flagpole with Backerkit again on Friday and see if they can push harder on getting those sent!
P.S. We should have the next upload ready for release this week with the Legendary Worlds Collection for D&D 5E 2024, which we have combined into a single volume (rather than the seven separate products for the original 5E 2014, Pathfinder, and Starfinder versions)!
